Again with this map, I feel there are obvious holes in the map space and I feel a horizontal legend would've been better suited and given the map a more even flow. Something to remember for next lab I guess!
I used the drop shadow effect. I just logged off the vm, but when I go in again, I'll search for the location of that option. It's effects on the top menu I think, and then you click on stylize, drop shadow. There are options there to change how your drop shadow will look and you can use the preview option to help decide what options you like best. Let me confirm the location of the drop shadow tool for you when I am logged in tomorrow! It's past my bedtime now:)
